A Dyte of Womenhis Hornys

About the Project
This site is the culmination of a semester-long project for ENG 661: Authority in Medieval Literature and Criticism at Ball State University, Muncie, IN. Throughout the semester, we have discussed editing practices and the traditional ways of disseminating literature. As part of that course, we have created an edition of John Lydgate's "A Dyte of Womenhis Hornys." This site provides a critical edition of Lydgate's poem and supplementary materials including: an introduction and notes contextualizing the poem, our editorial policy, and a downloadable version of our edition.
